About VGDS news

The Volvo Group Design System (VGDS) team supports a global assembly of designers and developers building products and services for millions of people, across 14 brands and more than 170 markets.

We use this site and our updates to periodically communicate the work we delivered and the iterations we're exploring next.

Creating in the open

Our design system principles, patterns, guidelines, and foundational blocks are all publicly available on the Volvo Experience System website.

Designing for multiple layers of users

Our work is made to serve our internal consumers (designers, developers, product leaders) just as well as our external consumers (end users, communities).
